Andy Burton hails from Essex. He played and sang folk music while a student in Leeds in the late '60s and claims to have taken it up again 'to keep the missus happy'. Nowadays it's rock 'n' roll, folk, country, whatever he can play and sing (and remember).

A keen cyclist, Andy really enjoyed welcoming the Tour de France to Harrogate in 2014. Other interests include carpentry, vegetables and fast cars, though not necessarily at the same time.
